for thriving

Hands in the Soil

Individually

Cleansing techniques, stretches, breathing methods, diet, exercise, right livelihood/work, rest, intimacy, sleep, and how to formulate individualized daily, monthly, and seasonal routines.

Spiritually

Who am I? What is the meaning and purpose of life? What is my concept/experience (if any) of the Divine? What is my relationship like with my higher power or people/causes I care most about? How can I skillfully use the unique gifts I have been given to be of meaningful service to the Divine and all of creation (family, friends, community, other species, country, and planet)? How do I feel about and treat those with different backgrounds, practices, and perspectives?

Relationally

Individual (different aspects of one's own identity), familial, communal, societal, national, international, ecological, and spiritual well-being, with an emphasis on grassroots organizing (methods, techniques, and projects to connect with).

Ecologically

Shifting from individuality, consumerism and exploitation to collectivism, devotional service, and stewardship. Rebuilding healthy topsoils. Protecting watersheds. Harvesting rainwater. Growing food. Working with the natural elements. Building natural homes. Safeguarding animals. Permaculture. Spiritual Ecology. Indigenous methods for facilitating and maintaining thriving ecosystems.

guiding questions

1) What are trusted, time-tested ways I can transform the tendency I have to subtly or overtly exploit myself, those around me, and Mother Nature?

2) What would the world look and feel like if we used ancient practices and perspectives to shift the mode of being from individualism, consumerism, and exploitation to collectivism, devotional service, and regenerative stewardship?

Beginning within our own bodies, minds, hearts, and relationships, and with the guidance of trusted teachers and teachings from various sacred Indigenous wisdom lineages centered around humility, love, and devotional service, we are ready to take radical personal accountability and practical action. . . are you?

what we do

We are particularly focused at the intersection of ancient wisdom, human rights, and environmental rights.

From sectarianism and religious violence, to misogyny and greenwashing, we explore and find fertile soil in places most shy away from—venturing into territory typically left outside of yoga studios, places of worship, and mainstream sustainability discourse, while still honoring and practicing time-tested tradition in relevant ways.

Our approach? Directly connecting you or your organization with trusted teachers and teachings from sacred Indigenous wisdom lineages centered around humility, love, and devotional service, spanning various spiritual systems, cultures, and geographies.

One example, is our Board of Advisors lead, His Holiness Keshava Swami.

(Part of) The Problem:
Searching for happiness in the wrong places due to disconnection and a lack of understanding of who we really are and the ultimate purpose of life, resulting in subtly or overtly exploiting ourselves, other beings and the planet.

(Part of) The Solution:
Being guided on this journey we call life by trusted, time-tested, and transformative sacred ancient wisdom, for the benefit of all.
